Finally found an occasion dramatic enough for the huge vintage pearl earrings I bought from Perth

Also wore my Thai silk dress fresh from Chiang Mai tailor (City Silk Co. Ltd., Thapea Road), ala 1950s diva Lin Dai-ish. I sang songs from the bygone but not forgotten era of golden Shanghai Mandarin pop.
