hair by Sam Chau from A Cut Above in Bangsar Shopping Centre...

Also wore my Thai silk dress fresh from Chiang Mai tailor (City Silk Co. Ltd., Thapea Road), ala 1950s diva Lin Dai-ish. I sang songs from the bygone but not forgotten era of golden Shanghai Mandarin pop.

As for making-up my own face, it's a continuous and slightly frustrating process but fun at the same time...I like to think that I'm getting better all the time :)
and am mad about colors....and silk.

and of course she was her usual goofy self, never taking herself too seriously though looking seriously chic.
The birthday girl Mia showing off the ring I got her

I sang at that special event for the special people that evening, Vei Kwok and Joanne.

I like fish tail dress, or is it mermaid tail?
as usual, I adore Sam's work on my hair...though it's quite a bitch to wash it out later but look at the crazy height of it :)
Mrs Phoon, the proud and stylish mother of the bridegroom
check out her gorgeous beaded -lace gown...

Like mother like daughter, YC the daughter (she was the crazy chick who organised the beautiful wedding, she designed it too) is a stylish woman, and guess what, she makes jewelery! Yes! The earrings she got on - she made them herself!
I like how the tail of the dress trails behind her and the bold combination of black on pale blue
I like how she wore the rose, haven't seen one like that for a while. With her was Zainal Baki.

I love the details of the dress material

Sorry, you can't see the whole heel from this angle...so just go n have a browse!

My Iranian necklace created a small burst of excitement among my new found friends, students from Isfahan, Iran!
The look of art...Toni Kasim, Shanon Shah, Sonia Rhawnda & Zedeck Siew. I adore Zedeck's skinny jeans situation, he got this amazing baggy `backside' jeans going...of course you don't see it, also, he tends to slouch when told to stand properly!
