All this extreme back-combing is taking a toll on me, mentally...seeing all that hair that came away with the washing and combing my hair slowly into place, painfully - I decided I need to consider some serious alternatives to style my hair for performances. My man suggested cutting my hair real short and keep a collection of wicked wigs for my performances (!!!!). I will start shopping and sourcing for hair pieces I could buy to reduce all that madness styling with my guy at A Cut Above. Each time Sam performs stunt-work on my hair half of the salon population stand behind him and watch him build yet another tower/bungalow on my head.

As for making-up my own face, it's a continuous and slightly frustrating process but fun at the same time...I like to think that I'm getting better all the time :)

This is a safe look for performance but I wonder what other hot siren look I could try my hands on...any idea?

Sep 16, teasing a laugh from my teary soprano friend Sook Siak, at her wedding lunch. She was to move her work from KL back to home town Johore with her hubby...hence the reluctant goodbyes. She looked like a possible Contessa for Mozart's Figaro, I was wearing an old dress bought from flea market at least four years ago.

Speaking of celebrations, I had the honour to attend Mia Palencia's birthday do at the Attic back in early September where I met with Tria Aziz for the first time since I last saw her during M! The Opera's curtain call.

I love what she wore that day...simply brilliant!

and of course she was her usual goofy self, never taking herself too seriously though looking seriously chic.

Dinner with Seeming that evening after one of my rare auditions...no, of course I didn't audition in those sneakers. My debut show-off of this new dress I got from Scoop (label - Forever 21).

I love the details of the dress material

was feeling creative that day on the way to my rehearsal...the sweat pants I wore (some stores from Singapore) were on the loose side if I wore them low on my waist so I tried this look, hiked them up all the way to make like an empire cut, with my most versatile belt of the moment.

Impulsive shopping before goin to a show, didn't get those heels though they were absoooolutely gorgoeus!!! Go to MOOie (3-1, Jalan Telawi, Bangsar Baru) and get those, they only have less than 20 pairs! I got myself a silky GREY (totally refreshing from seas of black dresses I have) halter dress, totally chic n unpredictable, will show picture soon.
